While on an impromptu trip to Venice, two friends, Nora Zamora and Janet von Rusten, found themselves enchanted by the magic of Italy. Over a plate of soft-shell crab and glasses of prosecco, they talked about their deep love for this captivating country. Each dish they savored was more exquisite than the last, and their conversation flowed seamlessly from gelato to passeggiata, and later, over an aperitivo that turned into apericena. In that enchanting evening, "Uniquely Italy" was conceived.
